Artist Statement

I am an artist working in the SoWa Art + Design district in Boston’s South End. I paint by clairvoyance. Before I touch the canvas, I see the finished image in my mind - the colors, composition, title, size and all other elements of the painting. I paint in order to make what is unseen by traditional sensory perception seen. I believe my energy transfers through my work, so I only paint with positive thoughts and intentions. My work traces connections among self, community, and nature. White is an important color in my work. It represents white light - the positive light, love, hope, peace and spirit within us.
