Bio

I am an intuitive, abstract artist working in the SoWa Art + Design district in the South End of Boston, Massachusetts. I have studied at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, the New Art Center in Newton, MA., and with the artist Margaret Gerding. I have a MS in Arts Administration from Boston University and a BA in English from Michigan State University. Prior to painting, I was a gallery teacher at the Harvard Art Museums and a volunteer at the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum.

I have exhibited at several group exhibitions, including the Piano Craft Gallery in Boston, Mass., Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard in Cambridge, Mass., the Kathryn Schultz Gallery in Cambridge, Mass., the Cultural Center of Cape Cod in South Yarmouth, Mass., the Belmont Gallery of Art in Belmont, Mass., the QArts Gallery in Quincy, Mass., and the Attleboro Arts Museum in Attleboro, Mass., among others. My paintings can be found in collections across the United States. I am a member of the Cambridge Art Association, the United South End Artists, and the Newton Art Association.
